Happy new year! Here are some quick pictures of what I have awaiting me. These are pictures of the first third (54 minis) of the Julie Guthrie personalities line originally from Grenadier that I am painting for Center Stage Miniatures, a dwarf with a chain weapon for a good friend of mine, and a piece I volunteered to paint for a charity raffle at this years Foodmachine here in DFW. The lucky winner chose his Captain Allister Caine for me to paint. I can't wait to get started and see what this new year brings!

The Dwarf is a Red Box Games Dwarf warrior that I replaced his axe with a bit of chain and spikey ends from a chain accessory pack. I also clipped off his horns at the request of my friend.
This poor model was in pretty bad shape when I first got it. It was missing the backpack pipes, both hose things from his backpack and the magic bullet effects from each of his pistols. He was also absolutely dripping with excess superglue. After ordering the missing parts and soaking the poor devil in acetone for a full day, I set about to cleaning off the remaining super-residue and cleaning him and reassembling him to his fully assembled goodness. I have an open canvas with him, so I'm going to add some tiny Cygnar symbol embroidery all along the inside of his jacket and some Cygnar-ish freehand to the outside. I hope to have an absolute blast with him.

Well, that's it for now, back to work I go.
