Alright, major update time! First up is I had a very wonderful lunch with the best sculptor in the entire universe, Mr. Patrick Keith and his equally talented with a brush Vicky at Buffalo Wild Wings. While there, I was handed my Kickstarter rewards from his Highly successful Bombshell/Airlock Games Scout Ship Project. Included in the box of one was a master casting of Artie (the mini donated to T.A.B.L.E.) for me to paint as a backer reward. I will post a link to that later. I will be posting WIP shots as I get working on her!

I am so super excited to get to play with these bad boys! IF you don't already know, Airlock Games is going to be starting a Kickstarter project for a brand new adventure battle game called Counterblast. I am looking forward to this like a kid looks forward to birthday presents!! Here's a link to their website:

Airlock Games

You should find a plethora if information on the project there!

Here is Artie, the zombie hunter. What a fantastic sculpt, eh? This is another piece that I'm almost drooling to get into. Once again, Patrick Keith knocked this one right out of the park and into high orbit around Jupiter. I'm not fully informed how else you can get one besides the add-on from the highly successful kickstarter project that funded T.A.B.L.E. I hope they go on sale either at the door, online or both! Perhaps Airlock/ Bombshell will add her to their regular release? I hope so.

Second is that I have officially diversified my enterprises into sculpting as well. Because of this, I have been rather silent here. I cannot post any WIP shots that I took, or finished photos until the client posts the photos first. Once that happens, this is the first place I'll put them! I have a second sculpting commission already lined up on top of my other painting projects. Needless to say, I have become rather busy!!

Here is what my desk is looking like at the moment:

It's not much to look at right now. I can say that I absolutely LOVE Procreate! It's the best sculpting medium I have ever worked with. If it's good enough for Patrick Keith, then it's super awesome mega ultra good enough for me! It smooths really well, doesn't bounce back the way green stuff does, and it has a smoother feel to it. It's hard to explain how much I love this stuff. trust me, it's great though!

Tell them I sent you!

Here is the beginning of the next commission sculpt I started. It's not much, but it will hopefully not disappoint!

Thirdly, The Army painter has come through for me! They shipped to me ten class sets of paints and brushes. I am super stoked about that!!! For those of you who might not know, I am starting a regular series of intensive painting/modeling classes in the DFW area. I have several places available and excited to host these and I hope to have them ready to kick off mid to late February.

The contents of the box!

I cannot accurately put into words the deep and profound appreciation I am feeling for them right now. It is truly amazing to have a company be as excited as I am and jump in with both feet with me. I have another sponsor on the line and am in contact with a few more as well. When I have further news on this subject, I will let everyone know!!

Once again, thank you so much Army Painter for your awesome support and belief in my little project!

Please visit their website and tell them I sent you as well!

I am finalizing my flyers and other odds and ends for advertisement as we speak. My first class will be held at Area 51 in Grapevine on February 15th from 4-8 pm. It will be all about airbrushing basic to advanced techniques, troubleshooting and everything in between. The class will cost 30.00 per person. If you are interested in attending, please let me know!

This was a long update and I appreciate you sticking through the whole thing! Until next time, paint on!
